Before, spectating was a pain in the ass because everything was pitch dark. You couldn't see what you were even looking at, unless the player you were spectating had their flashlight active and looking directly at the same direction you were.

So now, spectators have a small light attached to them 24/7 so that they can actually see what they're looking at. 

In the future, this might change to be a more better thing, but for now you can actually see!
